Why Eden
We're a small setting on purpose — small enough that Philomena knows every child by name on day one, big enough to give each age its own room and rhythm.
Our team speaks English, French and Arabic — children settle faster when they hear their home language. We support children with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, allergies, and asthma without flinching. Every child fits in here.

From Philomena
I started as a childminder out of my home in Croydon because I wanted to give the children I looked after the same care I'd want for my own. Five-star reviews, full days, and seven years of the same families coming back told me it worked.
Eden Childcare Group is the next step — a proper nursery, with proper rooms, proper outdoor space, proper meals, and a team that shares the way I work. Same standards. More children we can help.
Come and meet us. Bring your child if you can.
— Philomena Sadia, Founder

Philomena is the warmest, most attentive person we've handed our daughter to. She came home knowing new words, new songs, more confident. We never worried for a second.

My hours are unpredictable and Philomena made it work without ever making us feel like an inconvenience. The progress in our son's speech in six months was incredible.

What you actually want from childcare: a person who notices everything, communicates clearly, and treats your child like one of their own. That's Philomena — now with a proper nursery behind her.

Babies from three months through to school-age children up to eight. We have separate rooms for babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers, and an after-school club — every age has the right environment, ratios, and rhythm.
Yes. Edenchildcare Ltd is registered with Ofsted (URN 2811658, registered 03 February 2025) for full day care on non-domestic premises. As a newly opened setting our first Ofsted inspection is scheduled within 30 months — until then, you're welcome to read our policies, meet our team, and visit the rooms in person.
All of the major government schemes: 2-year-old funded hours, the 15 and 30 funded hours for 3 and 4-year-olds, Tax-Free Childcare, and the Universal Credit childcare element. We'll walk you through what you're eligible for during your tour.
We're open Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm. The long day is deliberate — it covers shift workers, NHS staff, commuters into central London, and parents who'd rather not rush at 6pm.
English, French, and Arabic. Our team reflects the families we look after — children settle faster when they hear their home language in the room, especially in the baby and toddler years.
Yes. We support children with ASD, ADHD, speech and language differences, learning needs, behavioural and emotional needs, and the usual allergies, asthma, and eczema. Our founder has worked with children across the spectrum since 2018. Bring everything to your tour — we'd rather know than guess.
Free-flow play, structured Early Years activities, outdoor time, two cooked meals plus snacks, a proper rest, and a daily handover at pickup. You'll get photos and a short note about your child's day on our parent app.
Call or WhatsApp Philomena on 07861 763 780, or use the form on the contact page. Tours are usually 30 minutes; bring your child if you can — we like meeting them as much as you do.
We have rolling availability — some rooms have immediate spaces, others have a short waitlist. We'll be honest about what's free when you visit. Settling-in sessions begin once you've registered, usually two short visits before your start date.
